IMS
Information Management System (IMS) IMS is a document storage, monitoring and retrieval system. It combines a pair of websites, integration with the Concorde2000.com portal, a desktop application and a suite of automation , monitoring and data integration tools. The websites are written in a combination of Classic ASP and ASP.NET 3.5 (C#) with the backend applications written in C#. The desktop application provides twain support and processes thousands of documents each day. It is hosted on a full Microsoft stack (Windows 2003, IIS, and SQL Server 2008.) When the system was initial devised we used a more formal waterfall approach to development, later feature changes used an Agile approach. Role: Architect/Principle Developer. I initially wrote the requirements documentation and designed the database and application model. After the initial system was built I was responsible for maintaining any feature changes. Total Developers to date: 5 Languages used: Classic ASP, VbScript, ASP.Net C#, HTML, JavaScript, XML Database: SQL 2008 |
